AgrIOT enables Red Palm Weevil early detection
The Gulf Daily News (GDN) reported on our Red Palm Weevil Early Detection project in the Kingdom of Bahrain in collaboration with National Space Science Agency https://www.nssa.gov.bh/ (NSSA), Arabian Gulf University (AGU) and the Agriculture and Marine Resources Affairs (AMRA) under supervision of the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD). The Haorat A’ali project site was officially opened on 12 January 2021 in the presence of NIAD, NSSA, AMRS and AGU officials and press media, including Bahrain national news TV. The contract signing ceremony took place at AGU on 19 October 2021. Click here for online article in Arabic.
